Poor sizing

The sweater is beautiful and the instructions are quite clearly written. Unfortunately, I had to knit the sweater all over again because the sizing is completely wrong. Although I did a gauge swatch at the beginning, the finished sweater was a few sizes too big and I knitted it again in S instead of L. Now it fits more or less, but is still very oversized.
